We kicked off the season well yesterday... the young men came to play!!!

Offense:  We owned the field in the 1st quarter.  Great work by all!  In the second quarter they found a way to slow us down, but not stop us. We have some things to work on... and we'll add some new wrinkles this week & next.  Grade: A 

Special Teams:  This week we actually had to punt and from tough places on the field.  David Dirr did a terrific job of kicking "ugly" (and like kick offs, we want those) and giving our defense some field to work with!  Grade: A

Defense:  We held them scoreless for 3 quarters... our second group did a great job of containing their 1st offensive group!!  We just need to grow by 6 - 10 inches in our defensive backfield ;-)  Grade: A
