A Little Background on St. Aloysius football... St. Aloysius is located in Pewee Valley (Oldham County), KY. Though we are in Oldham County, we play teams from Louisville (Jefferson County). Our 1st / 2nd grade flag football teams play in the Our Lady of Lourdes League while our 3rd, 4th, 5th / 6th, 7th / 8th grade teams play in the Louisville CSAA League. We are the only football program serving Oldham County grade school age players that provides a high level of football and integrates growing young boys into young men with the Sports Leader program.
In 2008 St. Aloysius transitioned the 3rd and 4th grade teams from flag football to tackle football. We had about 100 kids participate last year in the St. Aloysius football program. Our youth football coaches focus on football basics, encouraging sportsmanship and values. The teams practice throughout the week and will play their games on Saturday or Sunday.
